Item Description

A RARE, sculptural and desirable older combination specimen from this well-known extinct Arizona underground and open pit mine, closed in 1982. Rosasite is RARE and the vug in sculptural matrix lined with pretty sky-blue chrysocolla is peppered with classic blue-green rosasite botryoids and gemmy, colorless, tetragonal apophyllite crystals. Outstanding and RARE combination material from the Bruce Murphy Collection. Mined circa 1965, according to the labels. Valued at $750-1000.
