Item Description

Dramatic form highlights this most excellent large sculptural upright rosasite specimen from the 2009 find at famed Mina Ojuela. Rosasite is a less common, but highly desirable zinc, copper carbonate from Ojuela. The gorgeous, teal-blue rosasite looks like it was poured as molten plastic. The little nubs add lots of character. The piece looks fantastic from either side and is nearly pristine, with only a trivial bit of scuffing on one side. The attachment is near and at the base. A very colorful and artful large example of the species from the find.
