Rooseveltite with Tetrarooseveltite, etc., (extremely rare)

Item Description

An incredibly rare specimen full of bismuth species from the Moldava Deposit in the Czech Republic featuring soft greenish-blue colored micro Rooseveltite (a rare bismuth arsenate) along with pale gray-yellow Tetrarooseveltite (another rare bismuth arsenate that was first discovered at this locality), along with pastel yellow Preisingerite (also a bismuth arsenate), dark grey Zavaritskite (a rare bismuth oxyhalide) plus minor bright blue-green Mixite (a hydrated bismuth copper arsenate) sitting on rich purple colored Fluorite matrix. I doubt there is another place on earth where you can find all of these minerals together on the same specimen like this. Obviously it's a micro piece, best seen with magnification, but it's colorful and looks beautiful up close.
