Item Description

How often does one encounter a 2inch+ crystal of Rockbridgeite from any locality? Typically, good crystals are under 1 cm, and to find a 5.7 cm crystal that's TERMINATED is really impressive. This species is the The Fe2+ analogue of Frondelite, and is typically found in pegmatites. This particular crystal has excellent orthorhombic form with a decent termination and silky lustrous prism faces. If you collect pegmatite minerals, phosphates or even German classics, don't pass by this really cool old time crystal from the famous collection of Bob Whitmore (label included).
