Item Description

An incredibly rarely seen example of the hydrated calcium silicate Riversideite from the type locality in Riverside County, California. This mineral is only found in about six localities in the world, and to have a piece from the type locality (which dates back to 1917) is incredibly difficult to find today. If you're a rare mineral collector, be sure to pick this one up. This piece comes with a classic label from Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value.
