Richterite var. Winchite (superb TN)

Richterite of this quality has not appeared on the market for a few years now in any significance and has never matched that first pocket that was brought to market by Obodda at the time in the early 2000s. This is a sharp, lustrous, very gemmy, yellow Richterite crystal (often labeled simply as the varietal species Winchite in this shape and color from this particular locality, by analysis according to Herb Obodda), which had never been seen in such quality from anywhere in the world until this small find of the mid-2000s (around 2005). This is a competitive-level thumbnail of a very common rock-forming species, that only very rarely gives us such nice crystals and beauty! It was valued approximately $500 in Herb Obodda's old dealer stock when we bought it out in 2008.
