Item Description

A fine, rich and showy specimen of bright, micro-dendritic copper in a transparent small cabinet gypsum cleavage from the Mission Mine of Arizona. Old and excellent material. Such thick windowpane slabs with such rich forests of copper inside are seldom available! In person, looking at the internal meshwork, you can see how mesmerizing this is and why it is such a classic. Ex Wouter Van Tichelen Collection. A piece a bit more than half this size sold in 2008 at auction for $400 or so. We have not had one so good since then.
