A STRIKING, LARGE, doubly terminated quartz crystal RICHLY invested with bright copper from the famous Messina Mine of South Africa and the Rob Smith Collection. This dramatic, very sharp, pseudohexagonal LARGE CABINET specimen has a distinctive, less copper-rich primary termination. The other termination was broken in situ, but was then fully healed as you can see and thus is a termination again. This giant is essentially pristine, with only very trivial edgewear scattered about. I have never seen another of this quality and size from this location. It is rare in that most people seek the bright blue inclusions and so seldom do you get good copper inclusions to go with the blue quartz from here. Valued at $2000.
