Item Description

An aesthetic and desirable combination example of a rarity from the famous Kelly Mine: turquoise-blue, banded, botryoidal aurichalcite in a curved crust has a rich field of gem-like, powder-blue, "rice grain" smithsonite crystals, so named for their elongated shape. This is a beautiful piece, deep in color and classic for the locale, but very uncommon in specimens of this quality. This cutie has several display possibilities. Ex Chris Cowan Collection.
