Sharp, translucent, rose-red, rhodonite crystals to 1.8 cm are nicely set in massive, glassy calcite matrix on this excellent older combination specimen from Franklin. The large crystal is very fine for the locale and the negative impression of an even larger crystal adds real panache to the piece. Ex Lazard Cahn Collection, a prominent Colorado dealer who died in 1940 and Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection. Bright orange fluorescence. valued $500
