Rhodonite (partially gemmy)

This is a very fine miniature specimen of a mostly gemmy, euhedral, shimmering deep cherry-red rhodonite crystal from the recent find in Brazil. This outstanding single crystal has five complete and undamaged faces, three on the front, left face and top. The right side is contacted and translucent and the back is cleaved. The bit of matrix is a really nifty accent. The photo highlights these faces. Way above average for the find. Valued at $500.
