Item Description

A classic combination from Sterling Hill. Sharp, lustrous, translucent rose-red Rhodonite crystals, to 1.4 cm, are richly and aesthetically clustered around a pod of glassy, adamantine-luster, smoky cerussite crystals (they do not fluoresce, which is how we caught them, and that they are not calcite). Bands of gray calcite, with orange fluorescence, are scattered between the Rhodonite and cerussite crystals. A very unusual combination rarity from the George Elling Collection, a noted Franklin specialist. NOTE: APOLOGIES TO OUR CUSTOMERS - THIS WAS ACCIDENTALLY POSTED AS A ZINCITE, IN A MOMENT OF DISTRACTION, AND HAS NOW BEEN FIXED
