Item Description

A classic Franklin Mine ore specimen with colorful fluorecence. The white calcite is bright red and the willemite is bright green. The massive reddish-brown rhodonite includes sections of black franklinite crystals. A fine 3-sided, 4 species example from the Kay Robertson Collection with no number. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
