Item Description

The Rhodolite Garnets from East Africa are amazingly attractive gems, and are fast becoming very popular among gem collectors, as this material is not very common. In recent years it seems there are less of these on the market, which might mean that deposits are starting to be mined out. This gem has a strong red color, and is nearly eye clean in clarity. The cut on this stone is a "Marquise Brilliant" cut. It is a very nice stone from what is proving to be one of the premier areas in the world for the material.
