Item Description

An exceptional and aesthetic rhodochrosite from the famous mine. The richly scattered gemmy and lustrous rose-red rhodos have an unusual habit - they are short scalenohedrons with modified terminations. The sculptural vug in sulfide matrix is lined with starkly contrasting and unusual GRAY bubbly oxide botryoids, adding pizzazz to this fine rarity. The rhodos reach 7 mm on this cutie from the W.S. Logan Rhodochrosite Collection.
