Item Description

Pretty pastel-pink, glassy, lustrous, flattened rhodochrosite rhombs are richly and aesthetically clustered on the sculptural undulating botryoidal gossan miniature matrix. The rhodos spill over onto the back side as a bonus. This is a rare rhodo style from the famous Potosi Mine finds of the 1970s and 80s, as most specimens were botryoidal or scalenohedrons. Choice and rare rhodo from the W.S. Logan Collection # X98-5.
