Item Description

Pretty carnation-pink, tightly intergrown, lustrous and translucent rhodochrosite rhombs, to 7 mm, totally cover the sculptural mounded sulfide matrix on this very rich and showy specimen from 2000s finds at this well-known Ag-Zn-Cu-Pb Peru Mine. The mine has produced many fine rhodo specimens and this is an excellent, rich and highly representative example from the W.S. Logan Collection X11-8.
