Item Description

Please note that this piece came to me labeled as being from Pachapaqui, but I'm not 100% convinced, so if anybody has any insight to its origin, please let me know. This small cabinet sized display specimen features with soft pink, lustrous rhombohedra of Rhodochrosite with minor sulfides associated with prismatic "needle" Quartz crystals on matrix. This area is one of the most classic Peruvian mining districts, and colorful specimens like this one do not seem to be nearly as available as they were 10-15 years ago.
