A classic and gorgeous, combination thumbnail from the Corner Pocket of the famous and now-closed Sweet Home Mine. A 1.4 cm (2.0 cm on the diagonal), gemmy and lustrous, light cherry-red rhomb is exquisitely complimented by four, water-clear, needle quartz crystals. The rhodo grew on the quartz crystals! The sulfides in the front are a super accent. Yes, a bit of periphery wear is noted, but this is really an aesthetic thumbnail example of the combination species and renowned locale.
