Item Description
A great locality Rhodochrosite from the Julia Fisk mine in the famous mining district in Leadville, Colorado. The piece is filled with small, sharp, lustrous, "saddle"-shaped compressed Rhombohedra of pale pink Rhodochrosite which are associated with dark metallic grey Galena up to 7 mm on matrix. One of the few specimens of this very hard to find material that I have handled. A great specimen for any Rhodochrosite collector or Colorado collector.
