Mount Saint-Hilaire is one of the world's most significant localities, and produces many "best in the world" specimens of a lot of minerals. This piece features a sharp and lustrous reddish colored crystals of Rhodochrosite with silvery grey prismatic crystals of Elpidite plus black prismatic crystals of Aegirinie and whitish trigonal crystals of Leifite plus minor white Albite. A cool association specimen, and really fun to view under the microscope.
