Rhodochrosite with Caryopilite

This is a rarely seen association piece from the N'Chwaning I Mine in South Africa. This large miniature / small cabinet piece features fine quality, very lustrous, glowing pink color, rhombic crystals of Rhodochrosite measuring up to 6 mm, associated with soft tan-brown Caryopilite on matrix. These pieces are incredibly hard to find on the market, and if you collect minerals from the Kalahari Manganese Field, or rare association specimens, don't miss out on this one. Minor roughness can be seen in spots, but the piece is largely in very good shape.
