Dramatically sculptural and colorful rhodochrosite from these less well-known Kazakhstan deposits. A striking stalactite dominates this aesthetic 360-degree miniature of rich rose-red, translucent densely bubby botryoids with attractive pearl-like lustre. The end of the stalalactite appears to have been contacted against the vug wall and then healed. Ex W.S. Logan Collection # 123-7. These came out over 20 years ago and are seldom on the market today.
