Item Description
An interesting, unusual and uncommon two-sided miniture rib from this extinct Tintic District lead mine. The inner concave side of the solid layered curved rhodo crust is covered with pastel-pink elongated, stepped-growth rhombs in artistic opposing patterns. The jackstraw rhombs on the convex side are larger, more discrete, have an oxide tint and are dusted with tiny sulfides. Ex W.S. Logan Collection # X134-6. Rare and rare style rhodo from this mine, with even the mine level known.
