Vibrant rose-pink, lustrous rhodochrosite rhombs, to 4 mm on edge, dramatically fill two connected vugs on this very rich and showy small cabinet from this less well-known San Juan Mountains locale. Rhdochrosite is known from here, but specimens of this richness and quality are seldom available. The scattered sulfides in the quartz-rich sawed matrix are a nice contrast and accessory. Ex W.S.
