Item Description

A sculptural, 3-dimensional specimen composed solidly of intergrown translucent, lightly frosted, pastel-pink rhodochrosite rhombs from the famous mines at Butte. The very nifty, well-placed cluster of cactus-like quartz crystals is a super accent to this choice old-timer. Essentially pristine, except for trivial periphery wear. Probably from the famous Emma Mine, source of much Butte rhodo. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection, acquired in 1963 and formerly in the Royal Brown Collection, according to Bob's label.
