A beautiful and aesthetic, mountain range thumbnail cluster of gemmy and lustrous, bright cherry-red to rose-red rhodochrosite scalenohedrons. The rhodos are strikingly peppered with sparkly, tiny, metallic-bright, manganite crystals, making for a very desirable combination specimen. A few of the crystals have gently cleaved tips, but most do not. This very fine thumbnail of densely packed crystals displays well from three side and really glows, when backlit. The value of fine NChwaning rhodos escalates like Sweet Home pieces. This piece is from the famed 1978-1981 finds, and such are increasingly uncommon on the market.
