Item Description

An adorable rhodochrosite and fluorite combination miniature from the famous Uchucchacua Mine. A gem, colorless, 6 mm, complex fluorite cuboctahedron is elegantly set in a 3.0 cm vug lined with gemmy, rose-red rhodo rhombs and a few pyrite crystals. The layered sulfide matrix adds character to the two-sided vug. Ex W.S. Logan Collection # X129-4. Fluorite and rhodo combinations of this quality are RARE from here and this is an exceptional example.
