Fine rhodochrosite combination specimens from the well-known Potosi Mine at Santa Eulalia are fairly rare. This showy and excellent piece features a rich bed of gemmy, lightly hematite-dusted, pretty rose-red rhodo scalenohedrons expertly accented with a single, 1.1 cm, glassy, stepped-growth, pink fluorite octahedron and complimentary bladed hematite rosettes. Fine combo material from the Dave Stoudt Mexico Collection. Valued at $250-300.
