Item Description

Glorious, gemmy, cherry-red, rhodochrosite crystals are aesthetically scattered on the starkly contrasting bubbly manganese oxide-covered massive sulfide matrix on this outstanding combination from this noted locale. Six scattered, frosted/etched fluorite cuboctahedrons are a super accent. Most of the crystal faces on the rhodos are lightly frosted, but there are some very nifty gem-clear faces. The striking, upright scalenohedron is 1.1 cm tall the the dramatic compound "lobster" is 1.5 cm. All of the rhodos are pristine on this very fine combination from the Dave Bristol Collection. Valued at $1800 and worth it. Very few have come out in last 10 years of this rich style.
