Rhodochrosite w/ Cleavelandite

Item Description

A cute flattened rhodochrosite rhomb from recent Chinese finds (2007-present). This translucent and lustrous crystal is pastel-pink and has frosted faces. This nifty, two-sided crystal is nicely accented on one side with a field of ivory cleavlandite blades. Overall this near floater is in great shape. All of the edges are pristine, except for the contact at the base. A highly representative example of the species and locale. The Wutong Mine is now closed and there is little likelyhood, that it will reopen anytime soon. Get one while you can.
