Rhodochrosite specimens are rare from the ancient gold-polymetallic mines at Baia Sprie and combinations with chalcopyrite are EXTREMELY RARE. This exceptional 360-degree small cabinet is highlighted by the scattered clusters of sharp chalcopyrite sphenoids on the very sculptural mound of knobby clusters of pastel-pink, drusy, flattened rhombs with matte lustre. Scattered matrix quartz points are a super accessory. The underlying matrix is sulfides. Ex W.S.
