Item Description
Juicy, translucent, rich rose-red bubbly rhodochrosite botryoids dramatically cover both sides of this impressive sculptural two-sided specimen from Kazakhstan. The botryoids GLOW with cherry-red color, when back lit. Rhodochrosite is the best known species from this less well-known extinct Soviet-era Fe-Mn-Pb-Zn-Ba deposit. These came out in the mid-1990s, with none since. Valued at $700.
