Item Description

Rhodochrosite specimens from the more obscure Monarch Mine are seldom available. This is a fine complete all-around cluster of lustrous, translucent, rose-red rhombs highlighted by the large crystal and nicely accented with a few quartz points. It displays well from several sides. Rhodochrosite from the San Juan mountains is one of the staples of any good Colorado or rhodochrosite collection, especially from this locale.
