Item Description

A RARE, showy and colorful combination from this less well-known Bulgarian Pb-Zn-Cu deposit. Beautiful spherical aggregates of vivid pink rhodochrosite blades cover the mounded quartz matrix, nicely accented with a few glassy quartz points, to 1.2 cm, and tiny golden chalcopyrite sphenoids. The bottom hosts a nice surprise, as it is covered with pearlescent stilbite blades. Choice and rare combination material from the W.S. Logan Collection # X116-7.
