This superbly polished Rhodochrosite slab is classic for Capillitas and is a lovely piece for its size class! It's a beautiful and translucent polished slice of pink stalactitic Rhodochrosite featuring a double stalactite with captivating growth rings that alternate from pale pink to rich pink. The color is rich and uniform, and the outer banding adds glorious detail that complements the inner rings beautifully. It is polished on both sides. Uniform color, quality, and size make it wearable or a specimen. A good multiple stalactite slab is hard to find today, as pieces of this quality were found in the late 1980s. (Lucky number 8 , if you stand it upright!)
