A striking and rare pair of intergrown rhodochrosite stalactites from the 1980s finds at this famous mine. One usually sees polished stalactite slices, not complete stalactites. This cute pair consists of striking, lustrous, translucent, stacked, flattened pretty rose-red rhombs. Complete around. The two contacted ends shows the filled-in center tubes, where the precipitating fluids flowed. Fascinating! An excellent and rare rhodochrosite from here with fine form.
