Item Description
A 1.8 x 1.7 cm, lustrous, translucent, pretty rose-red tabular rhodochrosite rhomb with tapered edges is elegantly embedded in the side of intergrown smoky quartz crystals aesthetically set on the crest of the miniature matrix. The rhodo is pristine. The primary smoky crystal is pristine, while the secondary crystal has a bruised tip. Rhodos of this style and quality in combination with smoky quartz were RARE from the limited finds at this obscure locale in the mid-1990s. Choice combination material from the Ted Bartels Collection.
