Item Description

Rhodochrosite is rare from this once important, extinct Utah mining area. Lustrous, flattened, pastel-pink rhombs richly cover matrix on this showy and excellent specimen. The piece displays well from two sides. Some minor periphery wear is a modest detraction in value, though not so muhc in context of the history of the locality, to this fine rarity from the Bob Trimingham Collection
