A very rarely seen specimen of Rhodochrosite from the little-known Equity Mine near the town of Creede in southwestern Colorado. As a matter of fact, it's quite rare to find any kind of Rhodochrosite from any locality in all of Mineral County, and this is the FIRST piece we've ever had to offer from the Equity Mine. If you're a collector of worldwide Rhodochrosite specimens, this is a great rare locality piece to add to your collection. This piece features light pink crystalline Rhodochrosite associated with gem quality, colorless Quartz crystals and minor sulfide matrix. If you look closely, some of the Quartz crystals show attractive scepter and "reverse" scepter habits! Very few of these exist, and you'd be hard pressed to find another in today's market.
