Item Description

An exceptional rhodochrosite and quartz combination from this well-known Taxco mine. Beautiful, sparkly, stepped-growth bright pink rhodochrosite rhombs, to 1.1 cm, are aesthetically set among sprays of gem, water-clear quartz points. Most rhodos from here are in spherical aggregates, so this is a very uncommon and showy example. Ex W.S. Logan Rhodochrosite Collection # X138-1.
