Item Description

A 2.0 cm, pretty rose-red, lustrous, translucent, stepped-growth rhodochrosite rhomb is beautifully set on one end of the RARE sculptural and unusual combination matrix. The rhomb rests on rare cream-colored chert and is strikingly accented with pods of starkly contrasting drusy quartz peppered with tiny pyrites. RARE and artistic combination rhodochrosite from the W.S. Logan Collection # X55-8.
