Gemmy and lustrous, pretty rose-red rhodochrosite rhombs with frosted faces richly and aesthetically line a curved vug from the 1996 Hedgehog Pocket at this renowned locale. The rhombs, to about 9 mm on diagonal, are beautifully accented by a couple of gem quartz points and a couple of hubnerite blades on one edge. The interior is nearly pristine, with only one broken quartz point noted. Periphery and edge wear are noted. This remains a very showy and highly representative example of the pocket and famed locale. The 1996-97 price was $150. Values keep going up on Sweet Home rhodos. Value today??
