Argentina has provided a tremendous amount of stalagtitic Rhodochrosite with a beautiful pink color banding, but rarely is the material gemmy enough for faceting as most of it is either slabbed or cabbed. With that said, this is a beautiful polished slice of pink and white Rhodo from Argentina and shows a lovely rose color when backlit. A unique and attractive piece to add to your collection. I like the fact that the outer "rind" is nearly complete, with only minor interruption.
