Bubbly, nubby spherical aggregates of tiny frosted rhodochrosite rhombs cover the 3-dimensional sphalerite matrix on this rich, showy and uncommon combination from this well-known Peru district. Raura is better known for excellent stibnite specimens. Most of these rhodos came out in the 1970s, with very few since. Rich and uncommon rhodochrosite with sphalerite from the W.S. Logan Collection # X21-2.
