Scintillating spherical clusters of tiny translucent rose-pink nailhead rhodochrosite rhombs richly cover the contrasting specular hematite miniature matrix plate on this very showy and classic combination from the famous finds at the Potosi Mine at Santa Eulalia. Ex Bill Panczner Collection : . Bill was the first Curator of Earth Science at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum in 1974 and the author of the 1987 book Minerals of Mexico.
