A very rich and showy 360-degree mounded small cabinet rhodochrosite and quartz from this well-known mine at historic Taxco. Scintillating spherical aggregates of pretty pastel-pink rhodochrosite microcrystals are richly and aesthetically scattered on all sides of the sulfide matrix covered with glassy quartz points. The prominent doubly terminated compound quartz crystal on the front is 2.3 cm and the oxide inclusions and coatings on the crestal quartz crystals are a super accent and contrast.
