Item Description

The Zanett tunnel is named after the family that owns the Grizzly Bear mine. Rhodochrosite specimens from this mine are among some of the most sought after San Juan Rhodochrosites by Colorado collectors. This specimen hosts beautiful soft pink tiny rhombs of Rhodochrosite which have formed into spherical aggregates on Quartz on matrix. The largest Rhodochrosite "ball" measures 8 mm, and is damage free. A beautiful full thumbnail sized specimen of this classic material. Very good quality and eye-catching.
