Item Description
An adorable specimen of the famous Rhodochrosites from the Pasto Bueno area in Peru. These pieces have been known for decades, and are still coming out today. They are similar to the famous Sweet Home Rhodos in terms of color, crystal habit and associations. This piece is loaded with many sharp, well-formed, bright pink colored, lustrous, rhombs of Rhodochrosite measuring up to 6 mm, sitting atop white Quartz matrix. The central crystals are all in very good condition, and they look great up close. Classic material, some of the best known Rhodos from any locality in South America.
