Item Description

Sculptural, well-placed vugs, to 3.2 cm, are filled with pretty pastel-pink, flattened rhodochrosite rhombohedrons in the hefty small cabinet matrix of granular Alabandite (MnS - Type Locality) and Pyrite. The ancient and historic Au-Ag-Te-Cu mines at Sacaramb are famous for gold and telluride specimens. A classic, probably old-time and very showy combination from the well-known locale.
